Flint is a clipper and peak ceiling on one dial. It strikes the peaks off against the programme's own level, chooses a soft or hard edge for each hit, and shows what was gained in loudness against what was lost in peaks.

For Drums and buses that need to be louder without a limiter's pumping, and a last stage before the master limiter.
- "Hear the flakes" plays exactly what was struck off.
- "Match loudness" lets you judge the damage, not the level.
- Only the struck-off part is processed at the high rate; untouched samples pass bit for bit.
- The dial runs Edge, Strike, Spark, Blaze. Stones: Drums, Bass, Bus, Master.
