Licence agreement
This is an agreement between you and [[Legal business name]] (“NF Audios”) for the NF Audios software you install. By installing or using it you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not install it, and ask for a refund of a paid product.
1. Licence
For a paid product, we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on the number of computers shown on its product page, for as long as you comply with this agreement. Free products may be used on any number of your computers. Trials may be used for the trial period only.
2. What you may not do
Share your licence key publicly, resell or rent the software, get around the activation, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows you to.
3. Activation and the data it uses
Activation sends your licence key (or your account sign-in), a device identifier created by the app, the computer name you see, the operating system and the app version to NF Audios over an encrypted connection. We use them only to check your licence and show you your computers, keep the identifier only in scrambled form, and delete activation logs after 12 months. Details: Privacy policy (https://nfaudios.com/privacy).
4. Moving and transferring
Sign a computer out to move the licence to another one. Transferring a licence to someone else needs our written agreement; ask support.
5. Updates
Updates within the major version you bought are included. We may offer later major versions as paid upgrades.
6. Ending the licence
The licence ends if you are refunded, if a payment is reversed, or if you break this agreement. When it ends, stop using the software and uninstall it.
7. What you create is yours
Audio you make with the software belongs to you, royalty-free. Bundled sounds may be used in your music but not redistributed as sounds or samples on their own.
8. Warranty and liability
We make the software with care, but to the extent the law allows, it is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the product. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and they do not affect your statutory rights.
9. Law
The laws of [[Province]] and the federal laws of Canada apply, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
